All of his friends and some of his enemies have turned out for the reading of his will.  Although he was generous to many in his lifetime, Big Willie's leaves his fortune to just one person ... A MURDER is committed and the audience is deputized in order to aid the local Sheriff,

Albie Danged, in the investigation of suspects.

Paterson Rotary Raises Funds for Haiti Relief in The Form of ShelterBoxes.

In response to the devastation and need for relief in Haiti, the Paterson (noontime) Rotary Club is raising money for the sponsorship of ShelterBoxes and we are urging business men and women in the Paterson community to join our efforts if they find it possible to do so.

What is ShelterBox?

Shelterbox is a very effective and immediate-response program supported by individual Rotary Clubs worldwide.  ShelterBox is an international disaster relief charity that delivers emergency shelter, warmth, and dignity to people affected by disaster worldwide. If you were to look inside these Rotary emblazoned boxes, you would find a sturdy tent which could accomodate ten people, a multi-fuel cook stove with cooking utensils and pots and pans, sleeping mats and sleeping bags, water purification tablets for clean drinking water, which will accomodate 10 people for 6 months, tools that can be used for survival such as flashlights, a wood saw, hatchet, etc.

1500 ShelterBoxes are already on the ground in Haiti's capital, and several thousand more and needed. There are 1.5 million homeless as a result of the Earthquake that devastated the Country.

What Can You Give?

Well, that is a question only you can answer. Each box is $1,000. If you can find it in your heart and wallet to donate $100 toward a ShelterBox, please let us know as soon as possible. No donation is too small. If you can donate $75, $50, $25 toward a ShelterBox, please do. Checks can be made out to Paterson Rotary Club Foundation, and send to 100 Hamilton Plaza, Suite 1201, Paterson, NJ 07505.

For more information contact the Paterson (Noontime) Rotary Club at 973-881-7300 or stop by our Rotary meeting on Thursday at 12:15 pm at the Brownstone in Paterson. Lunch is $20.
