Community Service

The Paterson Rotary Club has a long-standing committment to community service, and these are some of the current community service projects, which are planned for this 2007-2008 Paterson Rotary year.

Paterson Rotary Adopts Public School #14
Co-Chairs: Irene Sterling & Greyson Hannigan

This was our major 2007-2008 Rotary Community Service Project, which earned our Club the Florie Scialla Outstanding Community Service Award. Through this project, our club has begun to enrich the educational and recreational experiences of the children of School #14. Our parntership included: Literacy projects, Tutoring, Beautification of School Property, Sponsorship of Faculty Wish-Lists, Sponsorship of meals for standardized testing dates, a Field Day, Holiday Party, sponsorship of music recorders for the Third grade classes and more.
